Crispy Bacon Wrapped Zucchini Fries

I awakened the opposite day craving fries! I got my little booty within the kitchen and began creating something that might hit the spot and satisfy. A couple of hours later I came up with these bomb Bacon Wrapped Zucchini Fries. Y’all, they're to die for and therefore the better part is that they are Whole30, Keto, Paleo and Gluten Free (You can thank me later).

Not only will these stratify your cravings, but additionally , they function an excellent meal or appetizer. I handed my husband an enormous plate of those Bacon Wrapped Zucchini Fries for dinner.

Football season is here and that I am always trying to find new yummy and healthy appetizers to feature to our menu. This is often now favorite on the list. My husband even picks them before picking hot wings I do know , right?

For these Bacon Wrapped Zucchini Fries, I exploit almond flour with an easy yet flavorful seasoning and an egg wash for the zucchini slices. 

Crispy Bacon Wrapped Zucchini Fries

INGREDIENTS :

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp dried parsely
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 3 medium zucchinis (ends trimmed, halved, and cut into 1/2-inch strips)
  • 12 slices bacon, cut in half
  • ranch dressing ((see notes))

INSTRUCTIONS :

  1. Preheat oven to 425F and coat a baking sheet with cooking spray or foil. Prepare the zucchini by removing the ends with a knife and cutting in half then into 1/2-inch strips.
  2. In a shallow bowl, add the almond flour along with the garlic powder, parsley, salt and pepper. Stir with a spoon to combine.
  3. In a separate shallow bowl, wish the 2 eggs together.
  4. Working in batches, dip the zucchini strips into egg mixture with one hand, shake to remove excess and transfer to the other hand and roll in the almond flour mixture.
  5. Transfer coated zucchini strips to the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Transfer coated zucchini strips to the prepared baking sheet.
  7. On a cutting board place the 12 slices of bacon and cut each in half. Carefully take the bacon and wrap around each zucchini fry and lay bake on the bacon sheet.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes or until the bacon is crisp and sizzling.
  9. Dip in homemade ranch dressing and enjoy.
